Powder Horn Training Course

Buffalo Trace and Shawnee Trails Councils are proud to co-host the 2006 Powder Horn training course. Our councils, located in the Central and Southern Regions, had the privilege in 2003 to also host a Powder Horn course. The 2006 course will continue the tradition of excellence, and raise the bar for Powder Horn nationwide. You can view pictures and feedback from the 2003 course at the bottom of every page. Each time you refresh your browser, you will find a new picture and set of comments from the 2003 course.
Dates
The course will span two weekends, September 30 - October 2 and October 13 - October 15, 2006.
Facilities
Participants will have the opportunity to experience the Powder Horn training course at two excellent camping facilities. The first weekend will be at Camp Roy C. Manchester of Shawnee Trails Council, and the second weekend will be at the Old Ben Scout Reservation of Buffalo Trace Council. During the second weekend, there will be other off-site activities in the Evansville, Indiana area.
